Goods not as described

Where a consumer has bought goods subject to an untrue description (a misdescription) then the consumer may be able to get redress under:

1. Sale of Goods Act 1979, s.13 which sets out the contractual position; and/or

2. Weights and Measures Act 1985 or Trade Descriptions ‘s Act 1968.
